AIIMS Patna is a residential medical institute situated in Phulwari Sharif area in the capital city of Patna, Bihar. The institute offers various undergraduate, post-graduate, and doctoral courses and is spread over 134 acres, comprising the main medical college campus on 100 acres and residential campus on 34 acres. AIIMS Patna started its operations on 25 September 2012. AIIMS provides hostel facilities to students across all academic levels from undergraduates to postgraduates and for senior residents. There are various departments within each medical college, including preclinical, paraclinical, and clinical departments. There are seminar rooms in each department, as well as labs that are well-equipped. There are four lecture theatres in the college building, all equipped with central air conditioning, projectors, and many other technologically advanced facilities. In addition, it features e-classrooms that can be used to conduct various seminars. 50 medical students have been admitted to AIIMS Patna in the class of 2012 batch.
